I had a kitchen in need of a major renovation. It was outdated and lacked style and posh. I heard about Marlene of Marlene Interiors & Design through a friend and she was such a find!
I was nervous about the project and wanted things a certain way and she was very patient with me and very flexible with my crazy work schedule and home life. After meeting and explaining to her my needs (I have three kids and two dogs), style goals (I wanted an open, airy Mediterranean look), and budget (not too crazy but enough to get what I wanted) she understood and delivered.
She came up with an amazing design layout that worked for my family and even my pets and it was exactly what I wanted. I loved her attention to detail and her choice in colors, fabrics, patterns and tile. (She even found me fabric that was pet-friendly for my couch). She made me think out-of-the-box (adding a window for more light). Her team of contractors were great too. They gutted my kitchen and were very neat and professional.
She kept me completely involved in the process. We went shopping together and I learned so much. She seemed to always be working on my project even when she didn’t have too sending me new ideas that she new I would love. We did the flooring, the cabinets, the paint, the appliances, the lighting, even the ceiling. Oh, and she also did my powder room that is off my kitchen with this unique tile she found. The project ran on time and on budget which was amazing.
I highly recommend Marlene for any home renovation or design projects. She was so great to work with. When I stand in my kitchen now I can’t believe the transformation. Hope this review helps anyone who may be a little hesitant at first. I went for it and I love the results.
